The quarterly Medycyna Środowiskowa - Environmental Medicine is published by the Witold Chodźko Institute of Rural Health in Lublin and by the Polish Society of Environmental Medicine. It has been published regularly since 1998. The journal was founded in order to popularize scientific advances in environmental medicine and spreading the progress of knowledge in this field; raising the professional level of people actively involved in the widely understood domain of environmental health; consolidation of scientific and professional environments by providing information to facilitate contact, interdisciplinary cooperation, and exchange of thoughts and experiences. According to the list of journals ranked by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the journal obtained 20 scores. According to the indexing database ‘Index Copernicus Journals Master List’ for the year 2021 Medycyna Środowiskowa - Environmental Medicine obtained 100 scores.

We would like to inform you that submission of a manuscript to the journal ‘Medycyna Środowiskowa - Environmental Medicine’ involves a mandatory initial fee of 24 EUR (100 PLN), whereas acceptance of the manuscript for publication in ‘Medycyna Środowiskowa - Environmental Medicine’ involves the payment of a publication fee of 75 EUR (300 PLN).
